Disaster Recovery: It's Not Just For Rescuing People

Here's a heads-up for nonprofit professionals.

If the file server at your agency is damaged or destroyed, how will
you carry out your mission? What sort of ethical or legal problems
will you have if you can't account for lost (or stolen) records? Will
you be able to operate from an alternate site if your headquarters
have to be evacuated? How quickly will your information systems be
back in business after a disaster, and who will be responsible for
making it happen? The time to address these questions is long before
disaster strikes...
